Hotel Villa Hermosa — Liberia, Costa Rica (Feb 2026) We stayed one night at this family-run place and had a very positive experience. Booking was personal and helpful — the owners sent a friendly email with local suggestions and answered all our questions quickly. The property was easy to find, secure behind a gate, and quiet; our room was clean and tidy with a comfortable bed and the best pillow, plus AC, TV, mini-fridge and free Wi‑Fi. They kindly accommodated an early arrival so we could sightsee without leaving luggage in the car, and the manager arranged and drove us to the airport the next morning. Breakfast is included (we left too early to try it) and there’s a dining area with meals available to purchase; only minor issue was that the room lighting was quite dim. Highly recommended for travelers who want friendly, family-run hospitality and a convenient, secure base in Liberia.
