Parliament Palace Hotel in Khujand was an excellent stay. My room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the outdoor patio had a great view overlooking the river and downtown. About 10 minutes after I was in my room, I heard a knock at the door and the staff brought me a tray of various nuts as a welcome gift! The location is ideal and easy walking distance to several good restaurants and relaxing spots if you’d like an adult beverage (Wall Street, etc.). I want to extend a special thanks to Farhod at the front desk. His English was excellent, and he took his time to explain where to go and what to see. The thing I remember most about Farhod is he always had a genuine smile which made me feel taken care of. The breakfast was complimentary and cooked to order, which was a great bonus. I’d gladly stay here again.
